Camryn Paige Has Arrived!

Our precious angel arrived at 3:15p.m. on January 29th! We were awoken in the early morning hours with contractions and decided it was time to head to the hospital at 4:30 in the morning. When we arrived, I was 5cm. dialated and was admitted right away. We were quickly taken to a birthing room, where I continued to labour for about another hour in the jacuzzi tub. Then the contractions became a little too much to handle and I requested an epideral, which was quickly administered and my water broken. Two hours later, I was 10cm. and ready to push. After a couple of hours, our Camryn Paige made her appearance and left Mom and Dad in tears. By far, the most miraculous event in our lives.

Since then, we've been getting to know our little girl. She already has developed a routine for eating every three hours and will wake herself up, without any prompting from Mom. She loves to be held and has Daddy wrapped around her little finger. Kevin has completely risen to all the challenges of fatherhood. Not only was he an amazing support during labour, but he continues to grow each day as a father. He loves to hold Camryn and is already mapping out her athletic career. Needless to say, she is the reason why we believe in love at first sight!
